Joanne came to Collins Kitchens looking to replace her very outdated kitchen with a more modern, functional, and stylish space. Her biggest concern was the long, narrow feel of the room. To resolve this, our design team introduced a clever return on the main run to help break up the space and create better flow.
A breakfast bar was also essential to Joanne, giving the room a welcoming social area and additional workspace.
Our quote included a complete transformation of the room, covering both design and full installation. The project involved:
Removing the old kitchen
Installing a new suspended ceiling
Running a new gas supply to the opposite side of the room
Installing a new cooker ring main
Full re-skim of the kitchen walls
Fitting new spotlights and under-cabinet lighting
Complete kitchen installation and finishing
Every detail was pre-planned with Joanne, which meant no changes were needed during installation and the project ran smoothly from start to finish.
The kitchen was created using high-quality, durable materials including:
Ceramic sink
Timber worktops
Feature splashback
These choices helped create a warm, timeless finish that complements the overall style of Joanne’s home.
Joanne was extremely pleased with the whole process, noting the:
Excellent communication
Smooth project management
Speed of installation
Quality workmanship across all trades
What she loved most about the finished kitchen was the quality of the product and the overall finish.
